Although I purchased alot of 2009 books I'm usually a year behind in my reading. So of the few 2009 books I read I liked:

The only books published in 2009 that I can think of right now that I read were Lost Symbol, Pygmy and Catching Fire. Of the three, only Lost Symbol wouldn't make my list. Haha. That book really disappointed me, and I usually love reading Dan Brown's books.

The Gathering Storm By Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson!!!

Even though Robert Jordan died a couple of years back Brandon Sanderson is keeping him alive to me by finishing the Wheel of Time series. He writes the way Jordan did at the beginning of the series! AMAZING work! Great job.

And I disagree ... Lost Symbol was Dan Brown's worst book so far!

CATCHING FIRE -- Suzanne Collins.

I laughed, I cried. I felt compelled to get in touch with the author to tell her that I think she's brilliant and that I am extremely jealous of her talent. But her website didn't have any contact info.

But it's brilliant. I can't wait for the last installment.
